What is the Maiden to Mother Journey?
The Maiden to Mother Journey provides a methodology to move yourself out of the immature, “Maiden” phase of your life (where so many women get stuck through no fault of their own) into the mature, full-expression phase of life known as “Mother.”
When we talk about stepping into “Mother” in this work, we do not mean physical motherhood: we mean the process of becoming the archetypal Mother to yourself first, and then to this world which is in desperate need of the healed, self-sourced feminine to rise.
The archetypal Mother is the powerful, safe, compassionate, full-bloom feminine life-force that exists within all women. She is who we needed as a child, who we were meant to be in this life, and who the world needs us to be now.
This journey shows you how to activate and express yourself as your own inner Mother, and tend your inner wounded Maiden—the inner little one who is hurting from a lifetime of living within this broken culture.
THAT POWER COMES THROUGH AN ANCIENT INITIATION, A RITE OF PASSAGE OUT OF A TIME OF REACHING & BECOMING, INTO A TIME OF
ROOTING & BEING.
Pre-patriarchal cultures revered the Mother, and honored this passage from Maiden into Mother as a part of nature’s cycle.
They saw it as stepping out of immaturity and youth into maturation and fullness.
They viewed the feminine life-cycle as flowing like the moon: waxing as Maiden, to full, as Mother (and, eventually waning, as Crone, when we reach the age where we begin our slow return to the earth).
When the rites of passage were stolen from culture & buried with the goddess, so too was our maturity & our wild, intuitive femininity.
Our unwell culture has largely severed women from this connection to cycle, asking them to remain forever young and childlike, and disconnected from their inner-sourcedness. Women have been especially infantilized, in order to keep them dependent on an external God & Government.
THIS WORK OFFERS THE PATHWAY OUT OF THAT INFANTILIZATION, DISCONNECT AND DISEMPOWERMENT—AND INTO YOUR SOUL-SOURCED
SOVEREIGN WHOLENESS.
The Threshold
When you embark upon the Maiden to Mother journey, you will cross a threshold that was buried on purpose by the patriarchy—the long-buried bridge between Maiden and Mother.
The Maiden to Mother Journey has excavated that buried bridge, and it provides you with the tools you need to walk yourself across it. It brings you through a sacred feminine rite of passage into your wholeness, your soul-gifts and your deep wells of inner-sourced power.
In this journey you travel with Goddess Inanna— the Goddess who gave us this map to feminine rebirth.
Guided gently by the ancient Sumerian myth of Goddess Inanna’s journey into the Underworld to meet her severed, dark sister Ereshkigal, you will move through the Underworld of your own body and life.
Through channelled teachings and meditation-journeying you’ll learn to address and self-heal the severed, dark parts of yourself—your innermost core wounds. They hold the key to your power.
You will learn practices of self-mothering.
You’ll integrate your wounded Maiden traits back to Mother Earth and free your inner little-one to play, create and express herself in a healthy way.
You’ll learn how to rise back up as your most wildly creative, whole-hearted, soul-gifted, safe and strong self: your Inner Mother.

your SLOW-PACED, SELF-BLOOM MAIDEN TO MOTHER JOURNEY
a four-month, pre-recorded experience which allows you to move through this sacred passage at your own pace.
In this format, you are able to dive into the depths of your bloom, examine your wounded Maiden, meet your inner Mother, travel through the Underworld and illuminate the love and support your soul so desperately needs—as slowly, softly and supply as this work requires.
Just as the ancient ones entered rites of passage initiations like this one by journeying solo into caves and dark woods, this journey is always deeply individual.
While we all walk this path into Mother on our own, we also do so held in the energy of the thousands of women who have crossed this threshold before us, as well as the many who are walking this path now.
Throughout this course, you will be surrounded by sisters who are doing the same work, and you can interact and interface with many of them in the Mammune, our virtual community portal.

About your Guide
Sarah Durham Wilson
This is Sarah’s soul work: it began for her, as an UnMothered woman at 33, who felt like a girl in a woman’s body. She realized she had a triple mother wound: she was severed from her own mother, the earth, and the great mother goddess. And without becoming her own mother- and coming into maturity - she’d forever be lost at sea.
She realized she was struck at a crossroads for which the bridge was buried— she needed to pass from girl to woman, or the immature feminine to the mature feminine. This is the bridge she first pieced together for herself. She’s walked hundreds of women over: and now it’s your time.
